Other than the Canary Wharf promo, nothing has been advertised about it though

This "Lost" series. Do you think I'm too late to go back & see if I can get into it? I dismissed it after the first episode. Do they know now why they are on the Island, etc.

If you went back to the beginning and watched all the episodes, then I can't see why you wouldn't be able to get into it. As for them knowing why they're on the island, they do kind of know why they crashed, but we're not currently sure whether their being on the island was a deliberate act or just an accident.

My dad is mates with one of the guys who was in that plane full of football players that crashed in the Andes, they certainly didn't bother with painting their nails - they ate each other, then when they got bored of that they got rescued....something like that happened anyway.

The point is my dad knows someone who's been in a plane crash, and a famous one at that.

Rugby players. That was back in the seventies, I remember it when they got rescued and the story came out.

Zoot wrote:Hell - One Tree Hill. Its supposed to be this 'reality soap' about this girl who gets her dream job working for Teen Vouge magazine, but at the very beginning of each show it say's 'Some events in the programme are constructed for entertainment purposes... In ever words ITS FAKE. It makes you wanna batter the spoilt little brats who want these big high paid jobs but can't be trusted to wipe their own arses themselves round the head with a large rabid mammal.

You have that confused with "The Hills".

One Tree Hill is the rip of of The O.C.

TV heaven has to be Jonathon Ross (depending upon guests), Grand Designs, Location Location, Ice Road Truckers (you need large testicles for that job!) and Police Camera Action.

TV hell would be CSI. My girlfriend watches them all; NY, Miami, Rotheram, LA. DRIVES ME MAD! They make out they're all so clever for solving a crime based on some spurious clue, but it's fiction. Now if it were real and they solved a crime based on afformentioned spurious clue, that'd be un missable TV. But it's not. Rubbish. Don't even get me started on Numbers, thats even worse; just a poor mans CSI. For any that think I have no escapism qualities, you'd be quite right. Rant over (although it's a rant from a man who has 80% of his Sky plus taken up with bloody CSI........) Oh yeah and I tried to like Lost, I really did, but again, lack of escapism got in the way!

I love Grand Designs. Me and Cat were watching it together (well, on the phone) last week.

Kevin is very well spoken and very respectful of whoever is building the house and what it is they are building. Even if the house looks horrendous, he'll find something he likes and talk about it. For example the house at Edinburgh (or nearby at least)... personally I thought that when the camera showed it from the front of the house, it looked like it was a school they were building. Yet Kevin was able to say how nice it was, once they put that cladding stuff on the outside.

I quite liked that house when it was done, I just couldn't stand the woman who lived there. And did you see those trousers her husband was wearing? Those two were like Neil and Christine Hamilton on acid.

My TV heaven is 24, Bones, Criminal Minds & the Unit. I know that makes me sad but I don't care. Hell would be Eastenders. At the moment however Hell for me is having to watch endless episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh and Drake and Josh. I used to enjoy Drake and Josh but not any more!
