This has been an argument, a discussion between numerous people, on multiple sides. When there is only one side present an argument can no longer take place.

A rant is a single person, or side, making a point out of some form of anger. If other people sides join in then it can become an argument.

Technically, you, as you made the first argumentative statement, although it could be said that as it wasn't technically an argument until Topher replied that he started it. Does it actually matter?

Are you asking what the difference is between you ranting and Moyles ranting? Very little, except that you got responded to, which, I assume, was what you wanted.

As the actual point being raised was that we hadn't continued the argument as the other side, you, weren't here (or at least wasn't responding), what does that have to do with anything?
