Oh the rugby was fabulous today. Wales for the Grand Slam. England just about managed a win against France but only just - dreadful game. Wales were fantastic in the second half (first half left a lot to be desired - they will work on that!)

I was nearly sick when I saw the film of Eduardo's injury. And I was sick when Arsehole Wanker, who regularly fields a player (Eboue) who makes tackles like that three or four times in every game, said what he said afterwards. The correct spelling of Eboue is "T, H, U, G, and he is the latest in a long traditional line from Arsenal. Still, at least Wenger realised how ridiculous he had been and issued a partial retraction of his comments.

Otherwise, I deeply enjoyed the United game, and deeply didn't enjoy the Colchester result - I wasn't there and I haven't seen a report of the game, but wurzel, I hope you enjoyed yourself and didn't leave The Drury Arms in too much of a mess.

Well you missed a pretty good game Yuds! First half Colchester were probably the better team in terms of chances created, but second half we really came out of the blocks flying!

Col U's goal was quite fortuitous, shot from the edge of the box which was fumbled by Basso (Our keeper) which is unlike him, and fell to your bloke about 6 yards out. Straight after kick off we got an equaliser, Dele Adebola with a great header into the bottom corner. 5 minutes later we got a free kick about 30 yards from goal, taken quickly, and from 25 yards, McIndoe unleashed a shot which got a huge deflection and it looped over Gerken (who was in a pickle, as sung by us City fans!).

We couldve got 1 or 2 more after that, but Yuds, if they keep playing like that, Col U should stay up.

Thanks wurzel - I'm glad there was something positive for us in there, but I am gloomy about our chances of staying up. And I'm glad you enjoyed the trip and the game! Although I kind of wish you hadn't......ah well.

Liverpool won't turn things around until they stop blaming the American owners for all their troubles and realise that Benitez has wasted a fortune (given to him by those evil Americans) on players who can't perform because he doesn't know how to pick a team and run a squad for a League challenge. His methods really only work in cup competitions, and even then it's a bit of a lottery. I can't see why the koppites are so keen to keep him, he is the heart of your problem. Still, I'm quite happy for him to stay because as long as he does, Liverpool will be in trouble, and that's always entertaining.

No i think Colchester will stay up. But you wont be playing us next season as we are going up to the Premiership! Still got Watford to play at home and Stoke to play away. We can beat Watford at home which SHOULD be on tele! And we are more than capable of drawing at least away at Stoke.

I hope to god that Liverpool really mess it up and dont even finish in the top 6! That means they wont be in Europe at all next season! Everton to finish 4th, with Man City and Villa finishing in the UEFA Cup spots, to join Spurs *cries*.

Yeah they did but why the referee blew the final whistle while we were on the attack i dont know! Robinson made some good saves to keep Spurs in it at times. Cech made a couple of good saves.

Still, a pretty decent footballing weekend despite the result.
