Bonanzoid wrote:Best gig - Biffy Clyro at Perth's Ice Factory. Don't really have a worst gig.

I thought you said you didn't like the Boyzone gig you went to... and that they wern't as good as Take That?

Oi oi, even if I had seen Take That, it would in no way be a bad thing. Legends, they are.

And no, I've never seen Boyzone, B'witched were playing the same night, had to see them instead.

Bon Jovi - would love to see them live! They're at Ashton Gate in the summer but sod paying £50 to see them there.

Bryan Adams - Seen him at Swindon's County Ground back in 2006, was amazing!

The Feeling - Again would love to see them live.

Nickleback - I COULD KILL YOU! The one band i desperately want to see live! I've got all 5 of their albums.

The Feeling are much better live than their albums suggest; I quite liked the first album before I saw them, but I was positively a fan after seeing them. We're going to see them again on Friday.

I saw Green Day at the Milton Keynes bowl a couple of years ago, it was very very good! We saw Westlift at the O2 on Saturday, not my thing really but it was ok, we had VIP tickets which made it better.....

Agreed. I know lots of people (myself included) who count it as the best gig they've ever been to. It helped that it was on at the Bowl, which is a few minute's drive from me and I parked on my mates' driveway.

My best one was GNR at Leeds in 2001 - I've seen them again since, but I think the first time was the best. I don't think I could list all the people I've seen - it's been almost 20yrs since I started going to gigs, my brain's going a bit rusty. I dunno if I have a worst - don't think I've ever gone to a truly bad gig. I did see Courtney Pine supporting the Fun Lovin' Criminals one year and whilst I'm sure he's very good at what he does, it's really not my thing and the set went on for aaaaages.

I love pub bands to, a close friend of mine is the lead singer of a 12 peice soul and swing band, (http://www.london-soul.com/main.htm) they are amazing to watch and have a amazing sound... but I like smaller bands to, I used to go and see a Blues band in Biggin Hill before the pub they played in closed down, was very good, Nickey Moore and the Blues Coroperation they are called incase anyone knows of them!

1. Tenacious D
2. Fountains of Wayne
3. The Wombats
4. Shiny Toy Guns
5. Franz Ferdinand
6. Jack Penate

I would love to see Green Day, they were my favourite band a few years back and never went to see them.

I saw 30 Seconds To Mars live a few weeks ago, they were great, jumping around and everything, same with Linkin Park but that was when I was around 14 years old.. not so keen on them anymore to be honest, Sum 41 I saw when I was around that age too, still like them, they are by far the best band I have seen live, seen a few more but I won't bore you with the others.

Wow. Don't know why I didn't notice this thread?
It's too long to remember all of them but off the top of my head: Elton John, The Who, The Stones (3 times), Travis (twice), Scorpions (twice), Guns n' Roses, Sting, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Metallica (against my will), Maroon 5 (free), The Beat, Dido...at my age there are probably scores more but years, children and others things have fried my fragile mind.
