Inverse Proportion

From Vernon's show on Saturday, a quick quiz:-

Three men build a wall in 10 days.

How long would it take 2 men to build exactly the same wall? :-)

If it takes 3 men to build the wall in 10 days, it would take one man three times as long, so he would do it in 30 days.
Two men could do it in half the time 1 man could so 2 men could do it in 15 days.

Inverse Proportion is the mathematical term (apparently) for what is going on in this kind of quiz. The things you can learn from a radio are quite remarkable. :-)
