As I see "um" are doing a "reasons to love people", I decided to create a reasons to love Moyles topic:-

So, why do you love him as a DJ? - I love him because: he's very funny, very enthusiastic about his job, not afraid to speak his mind or disagree with Management. :-)

Yep, that about covers it.

Is that not reason enough not to do one on here?

If I wanted to comment in UM's threads I'd register there. If Moyles' originality is one of the things he is noted for, and it surely is, then maybe we should be learning from him.

I wasn't actually asking you to comment in um's threads.. I was merely stealing the topic from their forum.

Clearly because I thought it would be a good topic for this forum.. d'uh.

Seconded. Maybe we should make this a rule on future threads too... i'm also getting a bit tired of the "what's your favourite Ice Cream flavour" type threads too. It's getting rather annoying now.

I especially like:

I don't think I've ever actually paid that forum a visit, probably because it's full of people like markool89 and QWERTY08.

That's bad enough.

Generally I would, but seeing as this forum has been around for sometime, I doubt there's anything else left to cover that hasn't already been covered before. Hence why you're now "borrowing" from UM.
Besides, if when i have created a thread - it's generally been linked to something Chris and/or the team has said or done. Which is why, i'm assuming, the majority of people are here... to appreciate and talk about CHRIS MOYLES.

We would but there wouldnt be any room after all your pointless threads about people's favourite ice cream, or what they had for tea last week.

This is another pointless thread because, seeing as this is a Moyles Fansite, we surely are all going to love the same things about him?

Pointless threads are no better than no threads. Possibly worse. Even if no-one created any new threads there would still be tons to talk about on here - and without the rubbishy ones clogging everything up, maybe some people would be more inspired to actually produce something worth discussing. But either way, copying from another forum is not the answer.

Seconded, preferably a thread about or linked to something from The Chris Moyles Show.

Ok I'm gonna say that this isn't such pointless thread for two reasons.

Firstly because as has already said we're all on here because we have a great appreciation for Mr Moyles but very few of us every say it because it's taken for granted. Some things are worth repeating. Also because Chris has a very broad appeal I think it would be interesting to see what different board members like about him. The things that Lalottie likes may be totally different from what Topher, Ballbag or Sunny like about him and I think it would help give an invaluable insight into the personalities of our fellow board members that might
not otherwise be gleamed from a "what is your fav ice cream?" thread.

Secondly didn't the big man himself say he'd love to read things that just said how great he was! I know it's a bit kiss ass but there's a lot of ass to kiss and I'd love it if just once he had something nice to say about the forum. He mentioned the site a while ago but mainly focused on the sound archive and had a dig at us lot. For once I'd like home to say that it's great on here.

By the way I'm not drunk.

iPhone darling. Crappy touch pad keyboard can excuse anything. Including my comment about women with 36DD's!

I love listenng to Moyles became he has a very astute view if the world. He's a celebrity but he's not caught up in the world of celebrity. He still plays xbox and watches Prancing on Ice for all his faults! He's not drinking with pop stars every night then telling that story. He's talking about having his teeth out and how he thinks his girlfriend is fitter than Duffy (and quite rightly too)!

He's the ultimate mate from the pub who you never see outside of the pub but it's always great fun when he's there.
