Aled, could you just say to everyone involved in this morning's show (the one where Chappers and Dave started their runs at Goodison) that the coverager of the run was great. Ok, the technical issues didn't help, but the whole build up, the Rocky music at the beginning, the atmosphere of the whole thing - it sent shivers down my spine, and I even shed a tear (well, that could be hormones, but anyway). And then at the end, the "Chappers and Dave" music - it worked really well. I gather you got a lot of critical texts (I sent a positive one to try to even it out....) so I just wanted you all to know I thought it was fantastic radio.

Aled, after hearing Paddy Keilty effin and Jeffin on today's show and Chris then explaining the 3 strikes and you're out rule, I was wondering....

What words are on the banned list and are there some that are viewed as being more severe than others. Also are there any words on the list that we would not expect to find? Words which very few people would find offensive but for one reason or another are on the banned list?

Isaac doesn't like Aled. He thinks he "has a silly Welsh Accent, does nothing funny and sounds like a dick". For obvious reasons I have resorted to a slanging match with him in the chatroom!

Hi Aled!

Just found the forum - looks good and i think 'Ask Aled' is a great idea

My question - How did you get your job at Radio 1? I'm just about to take my GCSEs and would love to do a job similar to yours when I'm older - I'm addicted to the music that Radio 1 plays and producing a show sounds really appealing right now - I was wondering what qualifications are expected and if there's any other information you think would be useful?

Lol,

Aled is the day producer of the Chris Moyles Show, so he is not obliged to be in work until 9am, as it is a 9-5 job. He comes on air because he is good comic value for the show and provides a lot of material for the show on air as well as off air. Sometimes he fills in for Rachel and becomes the shows producer and so is on air for the full 3 1/2 hours.

The chances of Aled actually saying that are very slim 'bumfree'.

Aled I know you don't like questions that start "Does Chris......?" but i'm fascinated by something in a totally non-stalker way whatsoever....

Does Chris actually own an Oyster card or does he really never use public transport? I find it hard to believe that anyone can live in London and never use it.
