I am in quite a good mood. I got a lot done yesterday. I'm off to the woods later on, and hopefully by the time I get back, my amazon stuff will have shown up. :-)

I am smiling because it has been a great day for sport in Milton Keynes.. MK Dons won the Johnstone's Pisspot Paintpot final, but it was a great day out (and all the action happened at our end of the pitch), and Andrew Baggaley (who no one will have ever heard of, but I'm going to tell you all anyway), whose brother runs the club I play for in the local league, won the English Closed today, which makes him our national table tennis champion. He won in 2002 as well, but I didn't think he'd win this year.. he beat a very good player (the number one seed and England number one, Paul Drinkhall) in the final.

The only bad thing about the whole thing is I didn't get to watch the table tennis because I was at the football.

Oh, and the other bad thing (apologies for the double post) was that Milton Keynes Lightning (the local ice hockey team) couldn't beat Swindon today and unless they beat Bracknell twice next weekend they're out of the play offs (the play offs aren't the same as football play offs, as Kendra and Sunny So Cal will probably attest to.)

My children have gone on a school trip followed by a rugby trip, both in Norfolk. I am child free for a whole week.
