You could stick a cassette tape on Yudwuk. Or, if you're posh, a CD.

Actually I can't do either of those things - Mr Yudster like mini-discs for some obscure reason, so I will have to find some of those!

Ah mini-discs.. I used to have one of them, for some reason they never really caught on though.

Get belly pork - all of the rib meat, none of the bone!

So far it's quite nice, but I'm sure the novelty will soon wear off.

"Ear-bleedingly awful." I love it!
When the novelty of silence has run its course, plug your generic MP3 player into your car stereo, Yuds.

Far from had his day , this year has been fantastic - I want to see a return to real cheesy breakfast radio even down to retro car bumper stickers and I would also like one road traffic to return.
The only thing that gets my back up is Mark bleeding Chapman - blow your nose and when you read the sport dont take the piss out of anyone. Its the one thing I hate when its holiday time.It just reminds me of the Sara Cox era so much that I listen to Five.

Chris in my opinion isnt right on TV but on the radio hes perfect and no one comes close!

He does seem to have the turd touch on TV projects but he is the best around on the radio by far,he has a love of the job ( in my own humble opinion ) that few others have,he also has a respect for other dj's that are equaly talented and also knows how to work a radio show.I would like to see him beat Wogan in the ratings and then pack it all in........then wait for the telly stuff to roll in.

Yeah well....i wasn't really thinking straight again when I said that. But Mills always seems to play the best of the playlist and some tunes you've not heard for ages. For example right now he is playing that Caesars Track....Jerk it Out.

Oh no, I don't like Dick and Dom particularly but they are a lot better than Mills. Nick Grimshaw I have never heard.

I have been unfortunate enough to have heard the first 45 minutes or so of Mills both mornings this week, and it has been ear-bleedingly awful (although I DO like Chappers, I wish he could get a better gig), and I have reconciled myself to driving to work in silence (Terry Wogan's incoherent mumblings are too difficult to listen to). I wish JK and Joel could have come back to do it - failing that, Zane should cover Breakfast when Chris is off, dumping Mills on us every time is getting beyond a joke. It's a promising way to lose listeners too maybe.

I agree, i dont mind Dick & Dom they are ok for a childish laugh now and again. Nick Grimshaw is Radio 1's token "indie" DJ to represent that area of the demographic of their listeners but personally, being someone who is into indie themself he is a bit too corporate. JK and Joel will never comeback (i even think Chris has indicated this on one of his shows) from Virgin. I dont think Zane is suited to mornings but would be a hell of a lot better than Scott Mills who decided to do a 15 min segment game called "What old People and children are on about" mearly to insult Chappers, what a waste of time. Chappers and Dave all the way they did last weekend why not do the weekdays instead?

Chappers and Dave are very good together , but if they cover Moyles' holidays, it means Comedy Dave will never get any time off!

I totally agree with the premise in the first post, I used to enjoy the Chris Moyles Show but it is sadly lacking in funny material these days. I really noticed this week when Scott Mills has been on and I have been laughing alot. Chris just talks about himself all the time and to be honest he's not that interesting and his jokes are not particularly funny. Im tired of hearing about TV shows and him kissing talentless celebrities arses. No more Davina please, she is equally annoying.
Your days are numbered Chris, you better get thinking of some original ideas...

I am at a loss as to how you can find Moyles unfunny and Mills funny. Perhaps it's that your sense of humour isn't fully developed yet.

How rude! Are you really so big-headed as to think that your opinion is worth more than anyone else's?

I agree that Chris talks about himself too much. He still makes me laugh though.

I don't think he is suggesting that at all - but his opinion is equally not worth any LESS than anyone elses, so why may he not post it?

No, I was just at a loss as to how he's come to that conclusion. Doesn't mean his opinion is "worth" any more or less than mine.

Please let me elaborate then. I found the way Mills and Chappers interact to be very natural and they seem to genuinely amuse each other, where as last time I heard Moyles it was him making mildly amusing jokes and Rachel and the rest laughing a little too much, a little too forced. Maybe Im just tired of the same old thing from him nowadays.
When Mills had those old people talking about various celebrities it was hilarious as was his impression of a horse this morning, have a listen and tell me it isn't funny http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/scottmills/ ... ting.shtml
As for having an underdeveloped sense of humour, how rude, neither of these shows are exactly intellectual entertainment, just funny/silly at 7am.

It's just that I (and, I believe, others on here) find Mills' show to be pretty much how you just described Moyles' show.. forced and fake. Moyles is spontaneous; Mills is certainly not.

Plus.. Barryoke. Please. I may listen to that link if I have time when I get home.
