I think I know the street you mean....except I don't do street names, I only know how to get where I want to go.

Making me smile is being in a cloud at the moment.

Soho's not that big, I do think I know the shop you're on about though, passed it once or twice. Next time i'm in that part of the world i'll see if I can find out what the shop's called.

Suffice to say I'm not in London at the moment...I'm on the highest hill for miles around...apparently if you go east from where I currently am the next time you hit land this height it the Ural Mountains!

I don't know that for certain but that's what I've been told and as it's very cloudy around here this hill has been enveloped in cloud all weekend......

Whoever it was that did Radio 1's report on fashion ethics and Bangladeshi factories made me smile.. a serious subject, I'll grant you, but I couldn't help but smile when he (it sounded a bit like Nihal) said "{name of person} doesn't get home until 9PM at night."

There's no one there that I'd be desperate to see, there have been far better line-ups in previous years. I'd like to see the Fratellis and the Kooks, but other than that there's no one I'd go out of my way to get to (except the Feeling, but I've seen them twice anyway.)

Yeah, damn your local residency! :P

Hopefully, seeing as I'm not too far away i MIGHT get tickets :)

It doesn't work like that. You won't be in the local catchment area that get a certain allocation, so you'll be in with the rest of the UK.

When you register it comes up with the amount of people who have registered.

It told me at 9.30 that 48,000 people had registered. My mate lives in the Wells so hopefully he'll get some tickets. Plus he works for the been but he's already said he can't blag any tickets so he has to register along with the rest of us plebs!

Although going on the line-up I won't be missing out on much if I don't get tickets.

See, i'm being nice - I registered but have no desire to go. I thought if i was lucky enough to get a pair of tickets i'd offer them on here, first come first served.

I don't think tickets are transferable though, they issue them to a person and that person has to prove they are who they are supposed to be in order to use them? I might be completely wrong but I thought that was the dealio.

well i just read it and it says this -
13. The ticket is not transferable and is for the use of the persons selected in the ballot and invited guests only. The ticket may not be sold or offered for sale by anyone whether at a premium or otherwise and may not be used as a prize or as part of any competition or promotional activity or for any other trade purpose. Sale or attempted sale is grounds for seizure or cancellation. This includes for the avoidance of doubt, any publication via the internet or any other means with the intent to sell for commercial gain. Tickets are security printed and individually bar coded. Resold or cancelled tickets will be refused entry into the venue.

And This -

14. The Organisers may ask for reasonable proof that the bearer of this ticket has been issued with it in accordance with the ticket ballot or other ticket distribution methods employed by the BBC.

But i think you could get away with it, you just say you're the guest. They are strict on the selling of tickets though. Well if i do get the tickets then someone can take the risk if they wish.
