Now I know it's early, but seeing as I'm not around tomorrow, I thought I would do this today!

We had a thread about St Patrick's Day back in March, and that was celebrated all over the country, which is a different country altogether from England (no Disrespect).

But I am now starting the first and only OFFICIAL St George's Day Thread, so here is me saying...

HAPPY ST GEORGE'S DAY EVERYONE!

Thank you. What are you supposed to do to celebrate St Georges Day, slay a dragon or something? I think I may have discovered why everybody celebrates St Patricks day and nobody celebrates St Georges day......

So was the one about St Patrick's Day, but every bugger seemed to embrace that!

:D Here's a joke for St. George's day... what do you get if you cross St. George with a dragon?

Answer = chewed up.

Well seeing as he is supposed to be the Patron Saint of Englind, and the vast majority of people on these boards are English, thats a really stupid thing to say. You are just having a dig for the sake of it rather than actually waiting for a good opportunity - much as he did to you earlier, I agree, but you don't have to embrace such shoddy workmanship.

No, when St George and the dragon er- "crossed", St George won. Comprehensively.

That moment hasn't arrived yet - the last thing I need right now is to get offered a job!

Viv You know I am Welsh and have no affinity to St George however you are the QUEEN of pointless topics! I hope you have me on your foes list as well as Yuds as I would be pleased to be there. The English have as much right to celebrate their patron saint as we Welsh do to celebrate St David and the Irish do for St Patrick and you Scots do for St Andrew (although * only knows when that is!)

Stop being so pathetic and go post on some other forum as you are seriously annoying me on here! You start stupid topics, you worship everything to do with Radio One as only a true stalker can. I have worked on several radio stations and people like you are laughed at as being pathetic people with no lives who text in about EVERY subject numerous times! Go set up your own Edith forum as you are trying to usurp this one away from Chris and into an Edith one! I'm sure Console will help - if only to get you out of his hair!

She is, and she is about the only english person that I have spoken to that seems gives a shit about their country. The rest of you seem to go "we are the best ever" I say: "no you're not" you say: "meh, fair enough".

There is no national pride (except at the occasional football match where you all expect to lose).

Go ahead - slate me, but I am actually kinda sticking up for Engerland in a sorta roundabout way. Or telling you lot to.

I love England and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else or be anything other. I don't feel the need to argue with anyone about it though.
