Reports are coming in that my housemate (27) has just fallen up the stairs in my house. Initial reports say that he was running up the stairs to use the shower and his legs gave way causing him to fall. A witness (30) said "I was playing Xbox when I heard a loud noise coming from the stairs as if someone had fallen over". There are no reported injuries at this time save for a little bit of pride but obviously our thoughts and prayers are with those affected.

Obviously I'll bring you more on this groundbreaking story as it happens.

I was wearing slippers the other day and i fell up the stairs 3 times in an hour, not just a little trip where you can recover yourself either. The last time i did it i tripped at the top step and went head first in to the wall.

We should start a campaign to rid Britain of these terrible death traps! If Cat was a cute blonde haired girl The Sun would be all over this. I shall be personally taking a petition to Downing street calling for the immediate banning of Slippers to help prevent needless tragedies such as the ones that have befallen dear sweet Catherine and my housemate.
