There are more than one - I have only kicked a man in the nuts once, when he was beating me up in my own pub and it was the most appropriate way at the time to distract him from grabbing the broken glasses which were on the bar and doing whatever he wanted to do with them. That is not the scenario which s4b had in mind, but I think it - and others - are equally valid.

That's terrible. Was he put away for it? He bloody should have been.

Without wishing to unnecessarily use your example to further a cause, I do feel it's a very good cause worth a mention at this point.. the campaign to get polycarbonate glasses into bars and clubs.
