Oh God! Radio 1 must be running short of presenters willing to cover for Kelly cause Aled is no presenter, we have all witnessed that. It's not that i wish him to fail, but I have been listening to the CM show for about the last 4 years and Aled seems to be great as the the one everyone laughs at rather than laughs with, and it works... however give him a show to present on his own....disaster (my opinion before you all jump)

you're kidding right? People in the Team very much laugh with him. As Aled is such a sensitive soul, I think if he really felt "laughed at", he would have left by now, and gone elsewhere.

Also, I think he will have the necessary sensitivity to handle the subject of relationships extremely well on Sunday night. I'm gonna be well-plugged in, and rooting for him.

I certainly think that saying that you can't stand the Welsh is xenophobic rather than racist. People are over-using the word racist far too much at the moment. But yes, nothing that has gone before precludes the possiblity that he is both.

Meh not fussed really...it's the French I can't stand, or the Germans....Actually the whole of Eastern Europe is getting on my nerves at the moment. There's far to many Saffas and Kiwis over here too and don't get me started on the Yanks!

Plus I forgot the aussies, but everyone hates them. The Chinese and the Japs annoy me as well...and the Africans and the Candians cos they hate it when you call them a Yank even though they sound the same! Not fond of Itallians either, or spanish. The Greeks get on my nerves as well.

Aled here from the Chris Moyles Show, just sitting at my laptop in my parents house in Wales starting to get a little nervous for tonight's Surgery so thought I'd send a little update to let you know what we have on tomorrow's show.

It hasn't REALLY been said on air but The Hoosiers are performing live for us in the studio tomorrow morning. They're doing this as it's the run up to Radio 1's Big Weekend which they're taking part in and tomorrow is the closing date for registrations for tickets to the event.

The Enemy will also be performing with us a week Wednesday.

Kirsty Gallagher from The Gladiators will be in on Wednesday so I'm sure the Sex Pest meter will be up to maximum.
