Speaking as someone who was in a similar position about four years ago, there is very little anyone can say to make any difference in that situation. You either go ahead and do it or you get better, and mentally recover. Thats not to say physicatric care doesn't work, but when you're in a dark place you don't always listen.

You confuse Good with effective, you can be good and still not effective, effective and not good. Either way you are wrong, say sorry, and don't, I say DON'T, do it again. Oh, and I hope you are having a lovely holiday.

Thought I'd have a go at one of these death thingies.
Hows this for a bit of 'Oh No' action?....

In 2000, The first BB winner Craig Phillips pledged his £70,000 to Joanne Harris, who had Down’s Syndrome, to fund a heart and lung transplant in the US.
- 8 years on, she has sadly passed away. Mum Marion, of Shrewsbury, said: “She did so much to show that people with disabilities can lead very full lives.”

I wonder if Iain Duncan Smith will be remembered in a similar way? Probably not, he wont even be a footnote in history.

Actually scratch that, our very own iain smith will be here - as ever - to report it, just like usual.

The very least you could do is afford her the respect of posting her name - Gwynneth Dunwoody. She was one of the last of a rare breed - a politician with integrity.

Oh no.

Radio 2 DJ? Humphrey Lyttleton was a greatly respected jazz musician and presenter of the radio show I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. But first and foremost he was a musician, and a superb one.

Oh no.

I heard Kris Marshall was in intensive care, I heard he was "seriously injured" and his condition was "causing concern" - and the next thing I heard was that he is expected to go home tomorrow or Thursday.

I hope he is ok too.

Kris Marshall has head injuries, but they are not thought to be too serious. Obviously being head injuries the doctors are a bit concerned but he should be ok to go home by the end of this week. He is in Intensive Care as a precaution.

It also now turns out that it takes a celebrity to be involved in an accident to get the useless Bristol City Council to put a road island in at the crossing where it happened!

That must have happened right near where we were on Sunday evening, according to the BBC it was certainly on the same street, we went to the Hippodrome.
