Granted, but this is what I posted: -

I am very possibly the worst person you could have asked - my art and design skills verge on the non-existent. However, you can use pretty much any picture you can find on the internet (providing it's within the size limits). You just need to get the URL of the image and paste it in the 'Upload from a URL' box on the Profile -> Edit Avatar section of your UCP. Also on that section is a 'Display Gallery' button that has loads of avatars that are ready for use; perhaps one of those would suit you.

Nobody is perfect, the ability to accept people as they are without swearing is something you learn as an Adult.

Consoles advice although difficult to understand from a lay persons point of view, was succinct and correct, and I like he would not have had the patience or ability to say.

"Find a picture you like right click your mousey button and press "save target as" or copy link that appears in the writing box at the top of your browser by highlighting it all and right clicking and pressing copy, then go to your account on here and in the upload box click in it and then right click again and press paste etc." See I am bored now.
