Annoying me today; job agencies...

The amount of d!ckheads you come across in the job hunting world are unbelieveable...

1) They leave a message on your phone about a job that they think is really good and they need... no demand... you to call them back straight away, you do, they're not there at the moment - they've gone to lunch (at 11:00 though? Hmmm...) so you wait until the next morning as they still haven't called you back, you call them back, the stupid tart on the phone called "tiffany" says "oh... she's actually gone on holiday now petal". "Thank you... That's just great... did she just forget about me then??" - "Well she has been quite busy" - "Bet she has".
2) You give them your life story about a millions times about what you're looking for... they take it all down on their systems... they ring you back a couple of days later and tell you about a job that doesn't even come CLOSE to what you asked for and you think "did you not hear words exiting my mouth?" - but it's ok though, even though it's not what I asked for, they make it sound great by saying that the job offers discount gym membership... "oh right... thats great! It's about a grand and a half less than what I need, but * it... i'll get down the gym"

Who the hell are these people??? (Apart from * morons). You ask them to do a simple job, so they ask you a "couple of things" to do that job - and they get it completely and utterly wrong!!!
How hard is it to find me a bloody job???

I relate to this, I've been there!
My advice is to approach any potential job as if you already have it! Most companies want you to hit the floor running so imagining yourself 3 months into it helps!

Obviously don't go over the top and fire people during your interview! I've discovered many interviewers frown on that!

At the store today somebody gave me a salsa sample which turned out to be ceviche. Not only did it contain fish, it was shrimp, which I'm allergic to! So not only did I eat meat, but I have the allergic reaction to prove it. Grrr.

They pulled me over on my scooter for not having insurance...which I have!
After having to sit in the front of the cop car for 20 minutes, they let me off!

They didn't get let off though. They were sent to prison by a military court. They promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground where they survived as soldiers of fortune. Hence they spent much of the time being pursued by Col. Decker and later on some other guy. You just had to sit in a car for 20 mins. Plus neither none of them rode scooters. A black and grey van with a red stripe, a White Trans Am and even a vacum cleaner/bin bag hot air ballon but definately no scooters.

What's annoying me today is the bloody engineering works going on with 1 train to London an hour that seems to go via Glasgow stopping at every lamp post on the way and most importantly Hasn't left at a consistent time all weekend! You just have to turn up and hope the train is there!

They didn't let you off. In order to be let off having no insurance, you would have had to have had no insureance. And you said you HAVE got insurance. So they didn't let you off. Presumably they just established that you were telling the truth.

I wonder how many car tax dodgers and stolen cars and people who really didn't have insurance drove by in the 20 minutes they took to find out that you were right and they were wrong. And I bet they didn't say sorry either.
