I will be honest, I have never read any of Terry Pratchett's books. Seeing as you have talked about them so highly I will give them a go, But my favourite books nowadays seem to be autobiographies - I have recently enjoyed, Russell Brand's - My Booky Wook, Gordon Ramsay's - Humble Pie, Both Chris Moyles books and Peter Kay's - The Sounds Of Laughter.

Ahem. "My mate" saw the film. He said it was "interesting", but he couldn't look at a horse in the same way again.

Considering my usual choice of book, you'd all probably think I was a psycho; however, I've recently started on the Discworld books (very recently - I'm only on The Light Fantastic) and am pleasantly surprised, it's the first time I've read fiction since I was a kid.

Woo - i'm reading Guards Guards at the moment. Only about 50 pages in mind.

I sincerely hope there will not be a third. The first was fantastic. I was up during the night reading it. The second just "died", I thought. Smacked of total and complete desperation.

Yeah, OK, bits of it were worth reading, but I have to say I thought it just had, "Give me lots of money" written all over it. If he absolutely must do a third, then I would really rather he waited until some considerable time had passed.

I think that his third book should be more about his life before radio 1, Like stories from other radio stations. I thinks thats why I enjoyed his other book so much, Because it had loads of things which i didn't know about him :D

Yep, I'd like him to one day do a post-R1 book (when he no longer with the station), detailing lots of gossip. Stuff that went on with other DJ's, who he secretly didn't like, etc.

Yes, Thats sounds like a good idea ! But the problem with that Is that I have to wait for him to quite Radio 1. In my opinion, Any book he brings out I will buy and read, even If his second one wasn't quite as good as the first.

That probably goes for me too, even though they aren't exactly fantastic literary exercises thay are entertaining, and they are Moyles', so I agree with that.

Yes, I'm pretty sure he knows a lot of gossip about people at Radio 1, Especially Dave and the rest of his team. Do you think he should write another book in the next 2 years ?

Hmmm... I'm not sure. Maybe not. I'd rather see one quickly appear on the shelves soon after his departure from R1. I wonder how he will eventually depart. Scott Mills was saying he would go in a "blaze of glory". God knows what he's got in mind!!

Yer, I head Scott mentions his ' Blaze Of Glory ' but knowing Scott It will probably involve him locking himself In his studio and completing his ' Britney Spears Masterpiece ' which he never finished due to * Management * :D

Yeah, what concerned me was he was talking about someone who had burned a radio station down!! Hopefully, he will have the good sense not to do the same thing!
