Not really, buzzards are mostly scavengers so the rabbit would be dead before the buzzard even found it, most likely.

Some do, but that picture was either a White Tailed eagle, a Bald eagle or a Sea eagle (I'm not expert enough to tell the difference as they look similar, but it was one of those) - they don't.

I was merely trying to emphasise one of the thoughts I had about what would happen when I let the rabbit out... I think it came from a Family Guy episode.

If we're being finickity, the original Eagle picture I used I think is generally native to America anyways... and yes, the Rabbit would have probably been dead before the Buzzard even came across it.
