did you read this at the front page of their messageboard
Ulrika - and libel (updated)
from James Cridland: And now, here's a dull legal announcement.
The Evening Standard, and doubtless the morning newspapers, have named The Other Person in connection with Ulrika Johnson. Regardless, my legal advice is to NOT repeat any alleged libel here.
We'll remove this message when we're comfortable about The Other Person being named here. Until then, please don't mention the person, even though it's splashed all over the Standard and elsewhere on the internet, because that's repeating a libel and might end up putting me, and my forum guides, in prison. (That includes you, Mr Sony Radio Award gold winner with your ginger beard who nearly got caught in the lift today.)
Secondly, even when we can mention The Other Person's name, a reminder that he (or she) has not been found guilty of anything with Ulrika or any of the other women coming forward. As a consequence, make sure you say "who is accused of" if you really must mention whatever it is he (or she) is said to have done. Remember, it's just one blonde bimbo's name against one "well-known" TV celebrity's name until they make a statement (except frankly I didn't think he was still going. Or she.)
Oh, heavens, have I defamed Ulrika's good name by calling her a blonde bimbo? Probably. She's probably got a university degree or something. And she used to work at the BBC as a secretary. So she's obviously not a bimbo, then. But she is blonde.
