its only up to the guy who runs the forum if people follow them, if nobody followed them he would have an empty forum as he wold have to ban everyone and then there would be nothing to run!

If we didnt have them then we would be over run with crappy threads and people abusing each other for no reason *looks around*

While it's not something I partake in that often (with the exception of the Daphne and Celeste thread, but I was bored and I feel it was justified), there does tend to be a pretty decent reason for the abuse.

It's pretty straight forward really: dnt typ lyke a tit an u wnt be treeted lyke 1. And don't say Daphne and Celeste had the catchiest songs of the past eight years. They bloody didn't.

I agree that not everybody is an abuser, most are just having a little bit of light hearted banter, but occasionally their is definately an overly cynical attitude to people when just pointing out the error of their ways would be sufficient

I guess it doesnt really help when people are shown the error of their ways and then the little tit of a newbie comeback with a really * reply....then its justified that everyone should lay into them

am i just completely contradicting my own argument?

*sigh*
