The dogs is a cracking night out, I usually limit myself to £1 per race. I've not been for ages, but I usually do a three way bet (I think that's the one where you guess the top 3 in any order); it usually does me quite well.

That's the one. Perhaps it was £3 for me as well then, I don't really remember... 'tis a good night though.

Good mornin!
Anyhoo with 3 dogs that can finish in any order there are 6 bets so if it cost £3 that's 50p a bet so to get £47 back means a great tricast dividend. Well done.

Which is even better really, must have both been long shots! Well done.

However thankyou for pointing out what a forecast is! Can I tell you how to cook a roast? ;)

For my next trick I will be delivering coal to Newcastle.

Making me smile is seeing Pendulum last night in Brixton, they were absolutley fantastic.
My 'guess who' for the evening was a slightly bored looking Greg James.

Glad to do my part. I really hate any sort of racing that involves animals because they're usually treated quite harshly and culled when they don't preform.

Ok. I didn't mean it anyway, I was being deliberately provocative.

Making me smile is the call I just got from Miss Yudster who has just finished her Maths GCSE paper 1 and reckons she's done LOADS better than she expected and better than when she took it early last year and got a D.

Excellent.

My experience with exams (which, I'd like to point out, is probably totally different to Miss Yudster's and anyone else's) has always been that I do well in the ones I feel I've done shit in and vice versa. This is probably due to my inability to predict anything whatsoever.

Making me smile is the invitation I've had to Daytona Kart Circuit for my sister's birthday, should be a right laugh.

Making me smile today:

Yudster wrote:It's cold, I am wearing a thin cotton jersey top (it was warm and sunny this morning!) and I have no jumper with me. If I go out there I fear lives may be lost. At the very least I'll have someone's eye out.

I just wish the guy in my office, who looks like John McCririck by the way, wore a jumper on cold days sometimes!

Oh thanks, now I'm not only trapped in my room and freezing but am being compared to some bloke who looks like John McCririck! Cheers!!
