Firstly I want to say a big thank-you to Viv, she was great to interview and very helpful.

I totally understand people being wary, so I've contacted Chris Harris to see if he can set up something a bit more official on here. I'm also hoping to post some questions so that people can email or post replies if they don't want to be interviewed over the phone.

The BBC email account for this part of the project has now gone live, so people can contact me via this:

There is a little bit about the overall project on the Cardiff University website - I'm working for Matt Hills, and we're reporting back to Tristan Ferne at the BBC:

If you'd demonstrated that kind of evidence in the first place, the reaction would have been totally different!

That made me laugh.

She had a right go at me for insinuating that about her at the beginning of this thread!

See I'm quite tempted now having read that. However I'm still a bit unsure as to WHY it's being done in the first place. Why does the BBC want to know about how often and what I get from this site? They could never replicate it. Also Chris has never seemed to care what people think of him in the past, he's always been of the opinion "If you don't enjoy it, switch off" and giving a load of opinions seems to me like Rach will just have more work to do to get him to conform to BBC policy.

Still a lot of unanswered questions for me and I'm a nosy bugger me!

Well I've emailed her yesterday and said I'll answer questions by email and I've not heard anything back so she's obviously not that keen. Aled thinks it's a bit dodgy as well and that she's definitely nothing to do with the BBC!

Yep, I think Aled's comments (that she has no connection to the BBC and hasn't been commissioned by them to do anything) is the one I'll go with.

Where has Aled made these comments then and how did she get an @bbc.co.uk address then? I'm confused now.

Ahhhh...I'm no allowed to post on there for some raisin. I can log in but not post...I blame the people who set the site up myself!

I am keen to hear from you! I have replied! Sorry for the delay, but this is not my full time job. It's extra research I've been hired to do while I finish my PhD.

I don't work *for* the BBC. The BBC are collaborating on a 'knowledge exchange' programme with the AHRC. Tristan Ferne from the BBC is who I will report back to. That's how I got a BBC email address.

I've answered the questions guys they're quite innocuous. I have a copy if anyone wants them so they can return it to Amy.

Oh go on then. I'll bloody do it as well. But if I start seeing my comments taken out of context on some sleazy website then there'll be hell to pay!
