i've been looking throught the thread's and found alot of things i agree with, and i'd like to say thankyou. But that mean's quoting and then typing, but then it's like right at the end of the thread when the quote is at the front. is it possible to have like a thankyou box under the messages?? so if you want to say thanks it's easier and more visible ??

You could just PM the user of the post and thank them privately - which would mean people wouldn't have to read loads of 'Thank you' posts, I wouldn't have to write a phpBB mod (I'm assuming that one doesn't already exist) and the user in question is far more likely to read and acknowledge it.

I've seen that sort of functionality on other boards and never really known the point. I mean obviously they are to say thanks, but, as Console has indicated, if the point is to add a thanks without bumping the thread, the person at whom the thanks is directed is unlikely to see it anyway unless there are further replies to the thread.
