I'm personally disappointed in The Fratellis. From the dozens of bands that played the weekend the only negative comments I heard all came from The Fratellis - and they did it in the national press. Wouldn't have minded but they were also the band I heard most complaints about from the audience. Shame.

Madonna's presence was well felt that weekend true. But until I've been top of my game in my industry for 20 odd years I'll reserve judgement.

Yep, thanx for replying. The comments did only come via the Fratellis. At first, I felt really pro-Fratellis....... but eventually came to same conclusion as you..... 20+ years deserves the respect.

Do you like her new album? I'm enjoying it, but feel it could have been slightly better. :-)

Hi, Aled!

About the 'best of' videos, are they going to be released as podcasts? Video podcasts are already being used. The thing is, the iPlayer videos are only available to UK residents, and there are a lot of non-UK residents (myself included) who'd really like to see them. Thanks.

AC, (regarding 'best of' videos) non-UK residents do not pay license fees and are unable to view certain BBC videos. Check on YouTube. Occasionally the ones in question crop up on there.

How about both? They'd be a good laugh on date. At least you know you wouldn't get bored.

Bearing in mind how many times Peter Kay has recorded the exact same show and put it on different DVDs, I think it might get very boring indeed!

It is good material, but you are right that (judging by the DVDs) he just does the same show all the time. I'd love to see some new material (someone was telling me yesterday that his autobiography is much the same as his current DVDs.)

Aled,

Should we ban Iain_Smith for being a tit?

Vote Yes.

How long does it take for an answer back from aled? :-s

[Wow, he answers back every single question! Not meaning to sound rude Aled, but I'm very impressed - great to know that you care about your fans!]

Just go through the topic "iain smith news" and you'll see why most of us don't like him.

I would like to ask Aled who picks the year for the golden hour, is it Chris or management. Its just that nearly every year chosen is from the 1990s, might as well re-name it the golden 90s its laughable, whats wrong with with other decades, its a good way of educating a young audience of good music from say 20 or even 30 years ago. But if it is management they should get their heads out of their fat arses and think about it, but if it Moyles he really shouldn't bother doing it, besides if he keeps doing the 1990s/2000s he has only a few years left, then whats he going to do then, start again.

And what's the problem with repeating a year? There are loads of songs out each year. And they do one year every week, that's nearly 4 months between repeated years and who can honestly remember that far back. More to the point who cares?
