Nothing was said on this occasion, but Markool is well enough known that I took the decision that the chatroom would be a better place without him. So on that occasion I removed him before he had the opportunity to piss anyone off. There is (I believe) nothing to stop him coming back on another occasion - but there's no guarantee the same (or similar) thing might not happen again.

Topher has posted (either in this thread or another associated one I'm not sure) a selection of forum posts by me which demonstrate that my attitude to Markool is far from hastily acquired. I have made numerous attempts to give him the benefit of the doubt, to encourage him and to support him - all to no avail. Much of what has formed most people's opinions of him has happened in the chatroom so is not recorded, but the few (there are many more) items Topher has dug up from the forum certainly show that my decision regarding markool was not a hasty or uninformed one.

The Chatroom isn't something I like much, so don't tend to go in much... For a start, it's too "cliquey", which instantly sets my teeth on edge. And there are few in-depth conversations to be had. The best conversation I have had to date has been with Andy B. telling me about his DJ stuff, so it actually had some purpose and was interesting. And the very best conversation I have had was, in fact, when I was sitting talking to myself.

I'll have you know that I was out drinking till 4am sturday and then from 6pm till 6am Sunday! It was fun. Just not very interesting if you weren't there.

I had a load of mates out cos it's the last weekend I have off until end of July. I'll be taking a lot of week days off now to look after Crumpet when she comes in 5 days!
