It does say that I am part of the CM.net league on the 'mini league admin' section, though.

Ignore this, the 'My Mini League' section has now appeared - you must just have to wait for these things.

You just choose random players and hope they play well. Well that was my tactic.

Hmm. What measurements are used? How can you tell if they're playing well other than by saving or scoring goals? This seems a bit woolly to me. Also does it tell me who are forwards, goalkeepers, strikers, backs etc?

It tells you the positions, and the best players are worth more points/money, which is how you can tell who's best.
