No. There are requirements on this forum which are outlined Mr Harris's rules which you should have read (if you are capable) when you joined. Those requirements do not ask for perfection, but they do disallow persistent laziness and lack of care in simple literacy.

If you insist on parading your apparent illiteracy and stupidity to the world, use another forum to tell everyone how uneducated you are. If you carry on using this one, you will continue to have people point out your ludicrous presentation and standards of literacy.

There are only two potential outcomes to this - you either improve your standards or leave. Your preferred option, ie having people change the rules just for you, isn't on the table.

Just so you know, there's no need to censor swear words as the board has a built-in censor system that people can enable and disable at will.

Judging by his track record, I'm not so sure he's censoring them. It's more likely that he can't spell the words is covering his back.

No, I won't * off with the education abuse. You having an education is about as useful as a fish having a car.

Grammar, it's grammar. I really hope none of those GCSEs were in English.

Why do people use multiple exclamation marks like that? From memory the exclamation mark is used either when something is said loudly or strongly - I don't think additional exclamation marks makes it anymore so, it just looks stupid. It'd be like doing multiple full-stops to indicate that you really want it to be the end of a sentence, or multiple commas to indicate that you really want a pause........

I don't actually believe any of them exist. My daughter is taking hers at the moment and her school would be too embarrassed to enter her in for them with English like this fool's.

Just out of interest, is there any reason for your lack of these skills? Most people don't have to try. If you're a foreigner or if you've got some sort of brain disease or something then that is an excuse. I'm just surprised that at 18(?) you have to "try".

It's not a matter of opinion, it's fact... writing with the correct grammar is 'right', there are no two ways about that. We have as much power as you to change that; the only difference is, we wouldn't want to.

Stop being a moron.

Teddi

You will need to be able to spell and use grammatically correctly once you enter the Job Market. It's no good bemoaning the fact you don't get a job as your CV and covering letter or indeed email read..........(Pause)

"Yo, hows it angin, see me and me mate seed your add and fought cool, like it, club rep in bangin Ibiza. Dear Teddi

May I wish you luck in the future, and if I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours Sincerely

Actually for a club rep in Ibiza that letter would seem ideal!

im 17 and im dyslexic

Okay, at the risk of being shouted at by my boyfriend, who luckily has no internet access at the moment, you cannot use dyslexia as an excuse for it all. Isn't dyslexia about spellling, so grammar should still be fine. Even with having dyslexia, you only spell words badly as you are spelling them how they sound, and I'm not seeing evidence of bad spelling, just a lack of ability to use punctuation. Its not too hard to remember to use a full stop or comma when required, and over-use of the exclamation mark is just annoying.

I'm amazed with the amount of people who claim to be dyslexic when the truth of the matter is that they just simply can't spell or punctuate properly.

im not using it as a excuse but just to say it's just taking the time to go through the whole paragraph what you write and putting in all the puncuation marks and that even the sea cadet fourm which is full of military people doesn't go as far to enforce grammer just no text talk
#346085
You clearly are using it as an excuse and it's none of our business what the 'Sea Cadets Forum' enforces, because you're likely to be the only person on here that also visits that forum. If the Sea Cadets Forum are happy reading unintelligible posts from * then that's up to them.

Teddi, you would be amazed how much more difficult that sentence is to understand with your lack of punctuation.
