#Ding dong the witch is dead.#
I'm rather worried about the possible drive by shootings of all those who voted 'yes' though.
Who's going to write his CM.net obituary on his favourite thread?

Meh let him try a drive by. I live in a castle with armed female ninja bodyguards and killer hounds patrolling the estate grounds at night.

He doesn't deserve an Obit, he's not actually dead.....more's the...nah that's too harsh.

Don't worry - he's back already - see new member "crispyness".

I believe he came back for a couple of minutes under another username but soon got swiftly booted.

He must have used another e-mail address though, because you can't use the same one!!

Well it's not beyond the wit of man, is it? I imagine most of us have access to more than one computer on different networks, hence more than one IP address - which would, as far as I understand, be the means of establishing whether a new user has been previously banned.

There are several ways of banning people, the most notable being by IP address, by email address and by username.. obviously the username will have been banned and probably the email address, but going by IP address is rather more difficult because most people don't have a fixed address, even if they only access the internet from one computer. The surest way to ban by IP address would be to ban his whole ISPs address range, which is a bit drastic.
