There's simply no end to the talents of R1 DJ's at the moment!!

From being ambassadors for Charities to T.V. presenters, and now ..... Kelly Osborne has been granted the award of "Theatre Actress of The Year" by Glamour mag.

Kelly has done a 2-month stint in West End show Chicago, and achieved rave reviews!!

Maybe she should stick to that then, instead of trying to be a presenter. Sorry, but I can't stand her.

I am struggling to work out on what level she is a Radio 1 DJ. Surely she is a celebrity who has been drafted in to raise the profile of a minority show? As such, she has probably succeeded, but I still can't see how she is a Radio 1 DJ.

Kind of annoys me that just because somebody is a 'face' that they get drafted into a position. She is neither a DJ or theatre actress, and merely got the jobs off the back off her parents. I mean what does she actually do? Nepotism happens day in day out, but there are many talented actors and DJ's who have done all the hard work and training, and scrape together a living trying to make it. Just think it's been gifted to her, and is a very cheap and easy way off trying to increase listening figures and theatre audiences.

I love how viv always starts a really positive (granted a tad pointless) thread then whatever subject it is she has chosen to say is great gets abused tae buggery by everyone else.

That said, Kelly really is terrible at the surgery.

I've seen her in Chicago and she was very good.

I have third hand information (but the same information from lots of people) from people who went to Knebworth to see Robbie Williams and they all say she was terrible there.

She's of limited use as a presenter, but I'm glad to hear she's done well at something!!

Funny, every review I ever saw of her in Chicago said she was crap hence she ONLY lasted 2 months.

According to the mag. she was only DOING the 2 months. She was also saying how much better she has been feeling about herself lately. I never realised she had been feeling so bad for some time now apparently.

Starlight Express is soo good. I want to see it again. I loved it!

Starlight Express was good - I've actually got the CD for it somewhere, very good songs.

Mrs Ladbroke would highly recommend Dirty Dancing, I however was less than impressed! Have seen The Cantebury Tales at The Gielgud theatre a couple of years ago, which was fantastic, and very funny. Took me by surprise as I thought it might have been hard going. The last great piece of Theatre I saw was Sunset Boulevard, when Petula Clark was the lead role. Fantastic!
