Amy is undertaking a research project co-funded by BBC Future Media and Technology, the part of the BBC which supports BBC Radio shows in terms of their online presence. Your input and her eventual report can help shape the future of how us as individuals and as a website community interact with the BBC.

She's posed the following questions to start the discussion, feel free to comment on these in this thread, or directly to her at her email address, [email protected].

  • What's your view of BBC online content such as "listen again", the podcast, youtube clips and the facebook group?
  • What Chris Moyles Show-related or Chris Moyles-related features do you personally wish BBC online would offer?
  • Imagine you are the new producer of the Chris Moyles Show: how would you change the show? And how would you use online content to involve listeners as much as possible?
  • What does the chrismoyles.net forum mean to you, personally?
  • The Chris Moyles Show has always involved audience 'interactivity' of different sorts, but how do you think BBC Online can show that listener communities such as chrismoyles.net matter to it?

If you are a regular visitor to the site or forums, Amy would also he very interested to do a more in-depth interview with you. If this was something you would be interested in, then you can contact her at the address above.

You can find a little more about the research project here.

I think given the amount of content the show has to be able to condense into the weekly podcast and videos, that the outcome is very good. However i would add that i think the videos should be available the those listeners who arent within the UK and are therefore unable to play them.
What Chris Moyles Show-related or Chris Moyles-related features do you personally wish BBC online would offer?
I would like to see a lot more videos. I hugely enjoyed the 'best bits' week and having the opportunity to see what was actually happening when 'insert dramatic radio even here' happened on air.
Imagine you are the new producer of the Chris Moyles Show: how would you change the show? And how would you use online content to involve listeners as much as possible?
I would add a lot more AP to the show. I realise there is a huge amount of listeners who text in, however only a select amount of texts are read out - those who are listening at some moments are more interesting than the team.
What does the chrismoyles.net forum mean to you, personally?
A cure for boredom and a place to have my grammar laughed at (because i cant spell critisised properly off of the top of my head) :P Im kidding.

Maybe providing short scheduled Q&A sessions similar to 'ask aled' in chat? Or a 'Question of the week' - I dont know.

*shrugs* hope my vague answers are useful somehow

I'm fairly confident that nobody would laugh at your grammar if you spelt criticised incorrectly.

Yes, but an inability to spell 'criticise' constitutes a spelling issue, not a grammar one.

She said thank you to me! She was very nice indeed. Very efficient! :-) BTW, Amy, I think the number you had used whilst ringing me the other time was back on my moby. I missed the call, as I was v. busy. If it's anything to do with you, please feel free to ring again. :-)

We are not Target S4, so it's irrelevant. I believe they want some feedback on the Archers over on Radio 4.

Anyway in my opinion it's all very good. Would be nice if the big man would show his face on here once, but everything else is great.

As I work in an office that has its servers rerouted through Sacramento, CA and back to sunny effing Bristol, it would be nice if INTERNATIONAL radio 1 was to enable me to get access to the listen again and video features from the comfort of my desk in the "quieter" moments. Not that it's ever quiet... if anyone ever asks if you've seen me, lie, tell them no!
