Saddo's the lot of you, I watched it on DVD again and I STILL had to hide behind my blankey for the bit in the subway! I also like to watch all the conspiracy bits in the film too!

I think when it was out at the cinema, but thing that really appealed to me was that you had no idea what the monster was or looked like. Now its out on DVD, all you have to do is turn the box over and there's a sodding picture of the thing on the back!

I saw it today and thought it was quite good. I liked the format and the way it lulls you into a false sense of security at the start.

I did feel sick watching it though and had to have a lie down half way through - not the film to watch if you have a hangover!

I didn't notice that! I was too busy laughing to notice to be honest.

hmm I don't think so. Strange creature burning down Manhattan, nasty little creatures biting people, stupid people trying to find a stupid woman, everyone dies in the end?

yeah thats the film, scared the living hell out of me, is this the first film where it is all filmed in first person and where there is no music in the background, bar the party music?

Yup, didn't seem that funny to me!
And if you're including it in the 'so bad it's funny' pile, I've seen much worse - try Toll 2! :D

Blair Witch Project? I'm sure there are others as well.

Why reverse it though....stupid idea if you ask me......

S'like if you reverse the audio from that guiy who did the Hindenberg disaster you can hear something about a gas lamp or something...it's on you tube anyway...just because you can reverse something and it sounds slightly coherent doesn't mean it's true..

If it did then i'd be telling people every day to

Sorry for the tripple post, but I've just listened to that mp3 and that's a load of bollocks, it's far to coherent to be real. Plus the audio in the film doesn't sound reversed at all. That's a cheap fake someone's knocked up in about 30 seconds.

I wouldn't normally believe it either, but the guy who made it (JJ Abrams) also made Lost, and therefore he knows damn well that fans are going to tear every detail apart.

This is probably a better reversal:

I don't agree that the un-reversed sound sounds like 'help me' though.

If I could be bothered I'd do it myself, but I can't so I'm sticking with it's just incoherent babble or just so distorted that no-one will ever know what it says. It would ruin the film if it had to be reversed. Camcorders don't record in reverse normally.
