Vivienne wrote:Very childish, foots. Right, the proof: sometime back, I was in bed in the early hours of the morning, when I heard my shower curtain being moved along the rails, backwards & forwards.... I got up to investigate and there was no-one there, and it immediately stopped.

There was a ghost in the other room but as soon as you walked in it disappeared which means you didnt see it?

I soooo wanna spend a day in your world - it sounds like so much fun. Only one day mind you.

The point to ghosts is they (usually) cannot be seen. I was wide awake, attracted by the commotion. Something was there.

So you are saying that you heard a noise in the bathroom but didn't see anything? Surely even you can see that there are several logical explanations for what the noise could have been? Why does the assumption have to be that it was a ghost?

Logical explanations, such as what though? No-one was there? There was no wind. No-one else about. So, what happened? This was a COMMOTION and no-one was there. I'm not lying.

I don't know, I wasn't there. I'm not saying you were lying, i'm saying you were mistaken.

I'm saying that a rat climbing out of the toilet, rustling about with the shower curtain and jumping back down the loo again before you appeared is more likely than a ghost being in the room.

Ghosts do exist...I went out for a few beers with some mates of mine last night and it ended up being a bit of a "session".

Anyway, When I got up this morning, despite the house being empty so mysterious force has messed up my room, nicked all the money out of my wallet, thrown up in the bathroom sink and apparently taken a dump on my tongue!

Once again, no-one in the house but me! I know it was a ghost because it's ectoplasm was all over the middle of my bed as well.

Ohhh Charming. I'm feeling a little bit "delicate" this morning and that's just put me over the edge. You're such a child!
P.S. Sorry to hear about Bruce.

I'm cold, wet, tired, annoyed, and easily aggravated. I may have * things up with two of the people I care most about, and I'm so annoyed with myself.

charlalottie wrote:I believe in ghosts and I have seen things in my room such as dark figures in reflections of my mirror behind me and lights floating in the middle of the night as well as hearing things being moved around downstairs when everyone was upstairs. I've even had people who have stayed over who didn't believe in them say they have heard stuff being moved around and even one saying they saw something too. That's enough proof for me but obviously some people need more definitive proof and others only need a little.

See, I don't believe in them. The only reason you and Viv (and presumabluy many other people) do believe in them is because of certain experiences you have had which have made you think that ghosts are responsible. The fact that there could be other possible explanations (possibly very far fetched, but no more far fetched than a ghost) means that whatever your experiences, they don't constitute PROOF.

I don't believe in them. I do, however, respect the fact that you and Viv (and whoever else) do.

Everything and everyone. My family especially. It's days like this I wish I was like a hermit or something, and could hide myself away from the rest of the world as to not cause anyone any problems.

According to Google (which looks weird today) it's Doral Financial Corp. (NYSE)

However DLR stands for Docklands light railway. It's kinda like a tram or a monorail system that serves east london, principally the area around Canary Wharf but it has expanded quite a lot in recent years....the trains have no drivers!

The "no drivers" bit is ace as you can sit right at the front and pretend you're driving the train.

Or so I've been told.

Have you not seen their little doodles on certain days before? Today is to commemorate Marc Chagall's birthday.
