So, Dalek Caan (that's Caan, not Khan) went back in time, saw the Daleks were a bunch of no good rotters so saved them and brought them to the future so the Doctor could kill them off? Why not leave them to die out in the first place?
The episode hit all the right emotional buttons but you really don't want to think about the plot at all. As for the whole "one will die" thing, it would have been better had it been someone actually dying rather than that rotten cheap trick that was pulled.
That said, it was fun.
