It has come to my attention, that strange things are happening afoot. Rude doodles have appeared in the condensation of the back window of my 1989 Ford Cortina, while Johnny Foreigner is parading up the street with some kind of bunting made with the bones of small animals.
How, you may ask, has this come about? If possibly a forlorn hope of asking. I recall in the old days the popular trend of curtseying, a pass-time where the common misconception was that only female variants would take part. But Alas no, don't tell me Jan. A sign has now been erected stating 'Beware of incoming tide', and Punch and Judy shows have been banned. Is this to be expected now that dear old Terry Thomas, who does not Bath in Tea and has a certain air of the old rascal about him has kicked the bucket, or the fact that as I find old Scot Mills un-listenable i have switched to the old Togster, and all this seems very sensible now?

Aww Zooty I could hear "Ol' Tel" himself saying all that as I read it. Seconded, especially the Un-Listenable bit!

I must give Wogan a go in the morning instead of trying to struggle along with Mills. The only problem is that if I listen to Wogan that'll mean I've turned into my Dad..........bad times!

I kow what you mean Ladbroke - I can't listen to Wogan, I'm too old for it to be the right thing to do! The youngsters can get away with it.

Maybe you're in that dangerous middle ground, too young for Wigon, and outside R1's target audience. I cringe when they actually say what the R1 target audience is. That said Moyles himself is older than target listeners!

6music tries to fill that gap, I think, but they don't really have a good weekday breakfast show to win people over.

Was it a kind of giant stag beetle thing? Did you find that certain pepole seemed to be able to see it, but mostly you weren't aware it was there?

I'll have to give that a go, cheers. No good in the car though, as my Vauxhall Vectra isn't posh enough to have a digital radio!

They are sometimes appropriate though. Regret is the correct response to many things. In the case above, I have no idea, because I have completely lost track of what you're talking about though.
