Finally finding the perfect flat (the one I spoke about yesterday) and getting it is making me very very very happy today.

We move in 7 weeks (7 WEEKS!!! WOOP!!!). I can't wait!

Plus the council tax for the flat is making me smile as well as I thought I would have to sell my kidney to be able to afford it... it works out as £55 a month each, which isn't bad at all for a central Brighton flat.

I'm so happy!

Well done Rusty. Can't believe how little rent you are paying for it. You can't even get a shoebox for that in London!

when I first saw my castle I fell in love with it. Loads of rooms, my own dungeon, moat etc and full nightclub/latenight bar on premises! I want to get my sharks to 20ft then put them in the moat.

It's so nice when you find somewhere perfect, the trick is of course not to let on the the Estate agent that you love it or they'll push the price up!

Can they do that with rented property then? I thought that once it was a done deal that was it? Unless you mean the various fee's? Now they're going to cost an arm an a leg... it's insane how much they charge!

Holding fee: £200
Deposit: Approx £900 (I think however, the holding fee is taken off the deposit)
Checking and Admin fee: £300
1 Months rent in advance: £775

Total: Approx £1775 upfront... after all that though, it's fine. But still - to have to be able to find that is ridiculous!

Rusty - I meant don't let on to them BEFORE you make a deal otherwise mysterious interested third parties who have never been previously mentioned will suddenly appear out of the woodwork.

Just for a laugh with my mate. I daresay we've improved dramatically since we took it up last week, but that does not make us good, unfortunately.

Fly to Aberdeen then, I'll kick your ass and take your chocolate coins!

Haha, at least you're not in the millions of people that believe because they've beaten their mate who basically can't play, they're any good.

Is Aberdeen anywhere near Glasgow? I may be going there for a weekend quite soon.

Considering what Topher had posted about, i'm not sure slating him on where he posted it is a particularly decent thing to do.

Time and a place and all that.

Just coz you want in his pants.

Seriously tho, with regards to this particular complaint of yours - its important to remember that this is learned behaviour, and the expression of 'thrupenny bit' is often ping ponged about on this forum, (by you mainly, I think) in what I percieved to be a lighthearted way.

But you heard the bloke, I'm a *, so thats that settled.

Normally - id stay out of the tiffs you two have. I'd prob have let it go if Sunny didn't have it as her sig. Tis my opinion - nowt more.

And if I wanted in his pants, i'd have been there many moons ago. Topher will agree with me on that.
