Next monday.. er, not sure. Good recipes (preferably involving meat) welcome.

Incidentally, Richard Hammond reminded me of myself last night when he went through all the fish products saying "I can't eat that, I can't eat that.."

Do yourself a good old Spag Bol Toph (from scratch, none of this 'sauce from a jar' bollocks...)
just fry your mince, onions, mushrooms, salt, pepper and garlic untill browning, add a large glass of red wine, add tinned chopped tomatoes, a big dollop of tomato puree, simmer down so the sauce condenses for 45 minutes or so, boil the spaghetti, serve with garlic bread. Easy and yummy.

Cheers Zoot, that sounds good actually.

I don't see what Japanese paper-folding has to do with it...

Haha, I can cook you know.. I just haven't had the time for a little while; now it looks like Monday is my night to cook while I'm at my mum's which is fine by me.

My main trouble is timing everything to be ready at the same time.

Boom Tish

Oregano isn't a bad call, nor is Basil. I don't put Oregano is cause I don't have any Oregano.

A really good, yet simple recipe for chinese chicken stir fry is as follows:

(Use approximate estimates how how much of each thing you think you'll need)
1. Cook onions and garlic in wok.
2. Cook chicken in wok. (I like adding a tad of soy sauce at this point, but it is optional)
3. Add stir fry vegetables of choice.
4. Add a sauce made up of soy sauce, lemon, lime, water, brown sugar, water, corn flour.
5. When all cooked add noodles of preference, (I like the 'ready to wok' noodles, as there's no need to have cooked them beforehand)

Chinese Chicken Stir fry......Done.

Bollocks is it, a fry-up or roast dinner is the way to go!

Really? Who'd have thought.

Pop tarts! They're good for hang over days.

I think I'm addicted to cheese.. particularly strong cheese - mature cheddar to blue cheese, it's brilliant.

I thought it went alright actually, it really wasn't AS bad as I thought it would be; there were some embarassing moments where things just weren't funny at all which made it cringeworthy, but all in all it was alright. My boss is sweet.

Plus! I got some wicked gifts which I didn't expect at all. I got Ninja Gaiden for the 360, The DaVinci Code and Titanic on DVD (they got help from Mrs RustyBike - sneaky girlfriend) as well as a £10 Argos Voucher which will come in handy for the flat. So yeah - it went ok, thanks.

Surprised myself by running 11km at lunchtime, only intended to do about 5 but felt fine by the time I got to the millennium bridge so kept on going to Tower Bridge before heading back.

My legs now hurt but I feel a lot more confident about the upcoming half marathon.

I would never argue with a fry up.

* making a roast dinner though! You want a nice simple thing thats quick to make... cheese + pasta!

Definitely * making it yourself... go to your local or a Toby Carvery and get them to do it, my local lezza bar makes a wicked roast!

Yes I did, I THINK it just finished - I don't remember it being left open for another series which is a shame as I
actually liked it, especially as I don't know many Lesbians who do like it. I just like the fact that it's different from typical lesbian stuff which is usually over dramatic or over glam, like the L word, and it's British. #
But with that in mind, I do like the L Word; quite a bit actually - I've got every series on DVD. I'm a big fan, I just wish it was a bit more realistic with characters. i.e Not everyone is super glam and loaded. Shane was actually the first girl I thought "phwoar!" and then it all went tit's up from there... (see what I did there!?)

You into the L Word then? The first series is the best, the second is alright but it just gets bit mental and the third gets rather dull but the fourth (out currently) is meant to be just like the first, i.e. lots of rudeness!

Its not just lesbians on TV that are unrealistically glamorous and gorgeous - it's women full stop!
