When I chose my avatar it was either upload a picture from the web (which I am too stupid to do), or choose one of the ones made available on here. So I chose one of the ones on here.

I could change it because I think we can now use an image uploaded from our computer, but it scares Andy B, and that can only ever be a good thing.

Viv is obsessed with the idea that Chris Harris has a hand-picked group of people that he likes and that they get some (unspecified) special privileges which she assumes she misses out on. I don't think he actually likes any of us enough to do that. But Viv is always right (sig, anyone?!).

Did you see the bit at the top that says "this is an open group and anyone can join"?

As far as I remember (though I could be wrong) the board started off with unregistered users being allowed to post and that area started off as a place for members only to post and view.. then we went through a period of annoying new people, so we made it by application. For a period, when people applied to join, Chris would post a poll in there and we would all vote on it.

It kind of used to be a place for bitching about the annoying people.
