Men study themselves 341,000 times in a lifetime!

i hate to admit it but i must be quite vain, i seem to be always looking in the mirror or my reflection and don't even realise i'm doing it! in my head i'm thinking 'your doing it again, stop looking at yourself'.

having said that i'm glad i did look yesterday as i have found 4 grey hairs in my eyebrow!

i think that people that look at themselves in mirrors obvioulsy care about how they look...... i actually think its a good thing, it means you take pride in your apperance.

Yeah, I guess there's a line though between pride & obsessiveness in appearance.

yeah and finding that line can be difficult, i think you can also look at vanity about how long it takes you to get ready to go out, i knew a girl once that took 4 hours to get ready for a night down the pub!! now that is vanity at the extreme!

I hate looking in the mirror first thing, before I've got any slap on, I must admit. Some days (I must admit), it's OK, if I've slept well, for example ... other days, I look, and think, "You have to go....". I guess it can be a bit of a confidence thing as well.

I have a friend who constantly looks in mirrors - he even looks at his reflection in car windows as we walk down the street.

As for me, I don't think I'm that bothered really - I find it's better if I don't look!

I'm with you on that. Mirrors are tools for first thing in the morning. I'd rather not look into them any more than that, I know what I look like.

Mirrors are a problem in a similar way to cameras for me. I am getting a little better with both.

I look in the mirror loads. I obsess over my skin and hair terribly. If I've got a blemish of any description I will torture myself by looking at it constantly. It's not really vanity tho, more the opposite.
