Ok so I apologise for doing a Viv but .............

I was listening to the Chart Show on my way home tonight and Reggie was doing a text in about old albums and singles you have nicked off your parents that you really love. So what are your favourite "oldies"?

(Anyone with kids who feel that answering this will compromise their illusion of being young could tell us what their kids have nicked off them)

My mum now likes Scott's Friday floor-fillers and Pete Tong. The ironic thing is I always want to listen to Radio 2 on a Friday night...

Ah, The Bee Gees - I did get that from my mum. Amazing when you think of all the stuff they wrote for other people as well.

I can remember my Dad taping "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, when it was on the radio. I would have been about 6. I definitely got my love of Queen from him.

No they weren't. I don't think anyone who is alive today and likes Mozart was actually around when his stuff was first in the charts you know.

Pink Floyd and.....er....dire straits

played my dad the new version of brick in the wall not that long ago and he asked why young people like to ruin good songs

Brick in the Wall was never a good song. I always thought it was Floyd's idea of a joke.

I always thought Brick in the wall as Pink Floyds equivalent of Bohemiam Rhapsody

I think the strangest one is probably Frank Sinatra. I think he's brilliant, my dad hated him, my grandfather whom I only met once though he was great. Hard to claim that got passed down really.
