The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Very good interview with Peter Jones. Does anyone know who does that terrible cover of the final countdown? That was painful, but so funny as I didn't watch dragon's den so initially thought Peter had actually given 75k for it.

Fantastic interview 10/10.. You've beaten me to this topic!!

Check out, btw : www.hamfatter.net and watch the video of the Band's stuff... "The Girl I love" on video and available to download now!!
Love it!!

Bruvva, would you really buy cushions to stick on windows? Rachel says you would.

I hate mirths as well, silly blue things with daft hats. And only one woman between them.

And no, Viv, I wouldn't buy one of those pillows. Not that I don't think they're a good idea but I'd either a) forget about it and leave it on the train or b) get so comfy and fall into a deep sleep, I'd miss my stop on the way home and end up in Gillingham.

I'd buy one... I know those inflatable things that you put at the back of your neck are already in existence, but these were smaller & more compact. I liked them.

I'm thinking the same... who knows, maybe the sellers read moyles.net, and we may get lucky.

It all seems rather pointless to me.. I didn't see the programme (I'll try and catch it on the iPlayer in the week), but the idea of a pillow that sticks to the window seems crap.

As for the band, I think it goes against what Dragon's Den is; they're not judging music, otherwise they'd be on X-Factor. They're judging business acumen and innovation. Were these people trying to raise funding for a record label, that would be business (but would probably be turned down unless they had a unique selling point, because there are tons of record labels around.)

Having said that, I always enjoy listening to Peter Jones when he's on the show.

It may go against what Dragons' Den does normally, but then again, it was an unusual pitch, and showed good initiative, I thought. :-)

The pillow thing is good, because with those other inflatable things, you can only put them behind you... With these smaller pillows, you can get them to go at the side of your face.

Topher, they're doing the whole bit themselves, so they're effectively starting a record label with only one band - themselves. That's kinda what Peter Jones bought into.

I think it's fantastico, and I hope they are a great success!!

I'm not so keen on the music, but I hope it goes well for them. It'll be interesting to keep an eye on what happens to them.

They've already been picked up by R1 in the past. It was a good idea to use that in their pitch, I think.

I wonder who played them? Zane maybe?

The claim that they've been played on Radio 1 is a bit dubious as the specialist shows all put up their playlists. All I could find on the BBC website was that Stephen Merchant played them on his show - but nothing from Radio 1.

Because your intelligence is about the level of most other Aston Villa supporters.

She is. She owns a company that manufactures matches and I am rather enthusiastic about it.
