James Caan.... nice & relaxed until the business needs doing : then he reminds me of a tiger about to pounce on its prey.

Madonna is one!! A complete control freak, but you need a little luck too : right place @ the right time, and all of that.

Haha, that's a nice theory you have there, but I don't dream of owning millions.. I'm not greedy, I'd just like to live a comfortable life. That's not to say I'd turn down billions, given the chance; very few people would do that, if they were being honest.. but it's certainly not needed.

...and dodgy dealers. Most of them are Del Boys who got lucky.

Yes, I didn't know they had those on the market at the moment. So much for that then!

Yeah, I saw that one and this one on Engadget back in March.

They weren't claiming to have invented it though, they just had the sole distribution rights for the UK and various other random countries

The first pitch of the evening by lady "Samantha" was a total embarassment... I can't believe James Caan asked if she needed the loo (!!).

And as for Greetings Cards for Dogs... I mean, pleeeease... noooo

I thought she did okay. She just looked very nervous and not really very good at the whole presentation skills thing, but I know how she feels on that front!

The guy that wanted them to invest despite having made 300,000 from his other company annoyed me. He was just asking for a punch in the face for his arrogance. Had he come in to ask for a small amount of money and mainly their experience instead of their money, as well as being up front about the money he himself was investing, fair enough. But he didn't, so a punch in the face was all he should have got.

I thought Peter was really good with the last girl though. She looked like she was 30 seconds away from needing a cuddle. She was such a nice person too.

That's quite often the case, she seemed very clever and had all the right ideas but wasn't a good face of the company. My dad does something similar to Dragon's Den with his job (although it isn't his money he's investing, thank Christ) and he frequently needs to find presentation people to work alongside the very clever people with no social skills.
