Nellys Ride Wit Me is a classic example of one thing i cant stand
SILLY NOISES IN PLACE OF SWEARING
1. Ride Wit Me uses Phone Dial Noises
2. Missy Ellott Uses an Elephant on Work It
3. Gravel Pit has to be the worse
4. The Cat miow on the Afroman record
Talking 'bout sensoring swearwords MTV have sensored the Truth Hurts record featuring Rakim. In Rakims rap he says "you were there for my half a grand" and Grand was beeped. Fairplay he might have been talking about drug money but the next line is something about "C notes and high fashion brands" and the word brands was bleeped. WTF Brands come on.
Ah on Mtv Hits they just change the b*tch to switch....so its like "called the nurse again, shes been a lil switch.." makes no sense, but I mean through the day on the other channels it doesn't dub it, so I dont quite understand.
Heh, the funniest ever censorship of a track has to be Blackstreet's "Girlfriend/Boyfriend", which I remember Moyles taking the immortal p!ss out of at the time. - jc
Was listening to Radio One today - it kinda confuses me how Eminems was totally uncut at 11am in the morning, whereas they aren't allowed to on tv, and obviously if the dj's swear they are in crap, lol
M&L are on Non School hours though. Thats why This Morning can do things like bring on a topless woman to show Breast Cancer etc. Sara Cox and Moyles are around school run times.
