The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

You must have turned off after it had been going on for twenty seconds. It was curries. Not pizzas.

How strange that I remembered it as pizzas, but of course you're right. Doesn't change the fact that it was the most disgusting bit of bullying I've heard on the radio since Chris Evans was at the height of his madness on Virgin.

I have found myself switching off now and then and putting the TV on instead when:
1) Scott Mills is on (completely agree with the earlier 'off of' post) - I turn off completely when they go on hols and have the TV on instead!
2) Chris belches
3) Chris rants about his 'hardships' when I am working my back side off for a pittance

Having said that, they do make me laugh so much and as long as the above isn't too frequent, I won't be switching off for good! Dom - you're a legend!

Felt I had to jump in when I saw the OP's XFM bashing!

I listen to a digital radio at work, flicking between three stations. Radio 1, XFM and Planet Rock.

I do this for several reasons.

1. The Radio 1 playlist is absolutely godawful, and mind-numbingly repetitive if you are listening all day at work.
2. Although the playlist sucks, some of the DJ's are great, Moyles and Co. for example.
3. XFM and Planet Rock play my favourite kind of music, rock music and lots of it.
4. Yes, the DJ's on XFM and Planet Rock suck, but I think the great music they play makes up for it, as they aren't restricted by 'editorial policy' to endlessly repeat chart music over and over again.

In conclusion, I find my choice of stations complement each other well! I listen to Radio 1 when the DJ's banter, then simply flick to the other two stations to hear some great music....then back again!

Ah, another inane abbreviation.

Is that a dig at his size ?

I dont know McMahonman, I have never spoken to him, and he has only posted once on here.

But I can still tell that what he said was not a dig at Moyles's size.

I've spoken to Foot Loose quite a bit and I can now tell that he has NO sense of humor and doesn't understand that I was joking :D

The fact that your jokes are shit doesn't come into this? You'd need a distinct lack of sense of humour to find that anywhere near funny.

No - the few times I have spoken to you, I have been trying to help you get along with folk on the forum. I have a highly tuned sense of humour. Observe...

See - that's funny! Especially to everyone not on the receiving end!

In today's 'News of the World' it has stated that Chris can lose 500,000 listeners, but cannot lose all that weight. How many more stories are we going to see that start with 'Roly-Poly Chris Moyles'?

We'll probably get them until the great day comes that the last newspaper finally comes to the realisation that the internet made them obsolete. That day would come a lot sooner if people would stop buying the damn things.

Don't be absurd. SeriousCallers, are you one of those people that texted in the other day pissing and moaning about the belching and "bullying" on the show? Aled is a producer on the show. The curries incident was based primarily on Chris's belief that his producer shouldn't be messing about with cooking curries when he's such an important team member with more serious things to tend to. Of course, the other part of the equation is that the Chris Moyles Show is a SHOW -- for entertainment purposes. Aled is no more being "bullied" on the show than Chris is a womanizer. It's all an act. Get it?

Why is it when something negative happens on the show, a bunch of new folk turn up and start discussing it? Then why is it that all the regulars on here get wound up about it? Whats the point? The new folk have signed up to ride the wave that is the loss of listeners... he still has about 125 billion and Wogan (Forever) has lost some as well.

Let's not take it too seriously.
