Cloverfield is the worst film I have every watched

Seconded. Topher were you drunk? Maybe it's better when you are.

It bored me, too. I don't think the first-person shaky-cam can really work. The whole point of it is that it is ordinary people seeing events, but as they're ordinary people they're not directly involved - so nothing particular interesting actually takes place. The plot was verging on the non-existent.

Usually I'd agree with you, but I actually really liked this for some reason. I think it added to the intrigue.

I drove (so didn't get a chance to take a picture for your blog unfortunately) past some Dominos employees on the side of the road yesterday holding signs saying 'Honk if your hungry' - it was a professionally produced sign with the logos and everything on.

Topher is right there was a lot of ' intrigue ' but it would be better if later in the film some of the films KEY questions were answered ! E.G

1.) Where did the ' Thing ' come from ?
2.) Did New York get completely destroyed ?
3.) Did the ' Thing ' get killed ?
4.) Did the 2 people under the bridge at the end die ?

So many questions so little answers, a little bit like Lost !

I think it's fairly obvious that the answer to 2 is that it was getting destroyed all the way through the film.. number 3 the answer is no and number 4 the answer is yes.

Yeah, but the answer to question 1 wasn't obvious.

I've now decided that the Cloverfield film was pretty rubbish, but all the conspiracy theories that go along with it are pretty cool :D If you're interested or want to found some though provoking background to the film watch some of these:

Making me smile - I have nothing planned this week apart from lazing around at home, enjoying the sunshine and catching up on TV.

Having my wisdom tooth out this morning! Went into the dentists at 12:25, was out by 12:45. A completely pain less experience, and I've kept the tooth for my son to look at. He's into how the body works at the mo, so he'll love it.
