People can't see/feel/touch God, but they think it exists. Other people can't see/feel/touch distant galaxies, but they think they exist. I'm not sure why you think your statement holds any water at all.

That would be because we haven't found the explanation for things yet. Just like in pre-Newtonian times, we didn't understand how gravity works and now we do (to a certain extent) - it takes time to learn things, unfortunately not everything comes to us so easily.

How do you know there was no rational explanation? Did you go through every single possibility? There's a very huge difference between there not being a rational explanation, and just not knowing the rational explanation.
