I'm 23 and I'm already preferring Ken Bruce to Jo Whiley. Is there something wrong with me? I like the choice of old music and must admit to chuckling at some of the texts and e-mails sent to him.

I hope there are others out there. :o

No not really, I quite often listen to radio 2, and chuckle along to Wogan when Chris is on holiday.

I had it on coming back from the football on Wednesday night. It sounded like they were playing the Radio 1 playlist to be honest.

Personally I prefer to listen to nails on a blackboard than listen to Ms Whiley! So in my opinion there is nothing wrong with you. Ken Bruce is really funny to be honest but I've thought so for years.

Jo Whiley thoroughly knows her stuff, but the personality is too business-like. I'm not really keen on Ken Bruce, but I do like Jeremy Vine.

As far as Jo goes, I like the music she plays. She tends to get the newer stuff during the day. I liked it last week when she had Glasvegas as her record of the week. I'll need to see about getting their album when it comes out. Without Jo, I probably wouldn't have heard them at all.

It's her voice I can't stand, never have been able to. The music is great as long as she keeps quiet which kind of defeats the object of having a Dj there at all!

I dunno, I find Jo's voice kinda... well, sexy. I blame Scott Mills for his sound clipping of her.

Jo is great, you are all wrong. I've never been able to get into Bruce or Wogan, but I do like some of the Radio 2 output and quite a lot of the music does overlap with Radio 1.

I don't mind a bit of Ken Bruce. When I was working at the ice rink the year before last we couldn't get a stable reception on Radio 1 so we switched to 2 and I grew to quite enjoy it, especially Popmaster. Now I don't usually have control over the office radio but if I do I'll usually put it on 2. I find the Radio 1 playlist becomes really repetitive if you have it on for more than a couple hours at a time, and 2 doesn't seem to be quite as bad for that.

I'm guessing for emphasis. What's your guess?

It was good, and was often considered a 'sister show' to Spaced, although I far preferred Spaced.
