Some of it can be dull, the horse riding and sailing don't do anything for me. However, I'd like to watch the BMXing and shooting. The table tennis is always impressive too.

God don't say that Tial. Topher will be all over this like a rash!

Watching paint dry > ping pong

Ah well, each to their own I suppose.

Glad to see we've got a gold on only the 2nd day. That's not bad going!

You think doing 'watching paint dry' is 'greater than' 'ping pong'? In which respect are we talking here? It's certainly 'greater' in length, and 'W' is greater than 'p' (although only if taken as case-insensitive).

In entertainment value! I didn't actually mean it I was trying to wind Topher up as I'm bored now Cheggers has finished.

I would hope you didn't. There's nothing entertaining about waiting for something mostly irrelevant to happen, whereas playing (or even watching) a game would be far more entertaining - you would have to have pretty screwed up values to find 'watching paint dry' more entertaining than ping pong.

I don't know about that - I always have a good time on New Year's Eve.

You're bored too then huh?

I do enjoy watching paint dry when I'm waiting to see what colour it actually turns out to be on my wall. It's never the same in the tin as it is on the wall.

Not bored per se, but I am waiting for something to compile, and it's taking ages so I'm killing time.

Not really, it shouldn't be too much longer. Besides, I've decided that watching Dr Horrible again is a better use of my time.

I shouldn't have watch the Badminton yesterday. I was feeling good about my abilities in that particular sport until I did.

But you aren't the sporting type. To me it's a chance to watch all the sports I like watching on TV but usually don't get the chance to, which does include (but is not at all limited to) table tennis.

Good.

I'd put money on my boss beating you.

I'm tempted to ask "do you work in F1?" but Mosley preferred being beaten. You're probably right, I'm not that good. I give my work's best player a run for his money on a good day, but he still beats me without too much bother.

I can't see myself listening to much Moyles this week.. I missed the entire bit of the show that I normally hear this morning due to watching the diving (that Leon Taylor fella sounds like an English Aled.)

In the first event I've ever wanted Andy Murray to win (in the name of Team GB, obviously) he is faltering in the first round... Djokovic would be my tip for gold on the hard court though.

A frankly disgusting performance from Murray from what I saw.. I thought he was in with a shout of a medal, but losing to someone only just in the top 80 in the world is not a good sign for him. OK, it won't hurt his chances in the US Open, but I couldn't give a toss how he does in that, as long as he doesn't win it (which he won't.) That said, Yen-Hsun Lu looks very handy for his ranking.

Dear Andy Murray,

Next time, give up your plane ticket to someone who actually wants to represent Great Britain in the Olympics.

Love,

The British girls did extremely well in the 400m freestyle, paced it perfectly! I'm no swimming expert, but a gold in a swimming event for us is a rare thing, so they must have done something right.

The badminton has been good, as has the boxing.
