It seems Dom believes in the Loch Ness monster!! Good grief.

Gang members simply must do the show from Loch Ness. There's plenty of room near the Loch for equipment, etc. Plus, it would make for some beautiful pictures. :) The water is so deep, it looks BLACK, and the scenery around the area is heavenly. You can get on a boat and sail across the Loch.

A spectacular sight on frosty winter's mornings is when the mists boil off the waters surface or when an early evening moon-rise sparkle off the water. Click on the link to view the area!!

Do you believe in the monster? I don't. I'm inclined, like Chris Moyles, to believe it's simply the depth of the water that makes it mysterious, and nothing more.

I don't believe in the Loch Ness Monster.. however, how Viv of all people, can mock someone for believing in it, I find quite astonishing.

That reads like there is a mocking tone to me.

Well, you are mistaken. Besides, I'm doing my piece for the Scottish Tourist Board here. Please don't attempt to stop me.

I'm a bit sceptical myself, but thoroughly recommend a trip to the area to see for yourself. I went to Rock Ness a couple of years ago and found the place absolutely stunning. No sign of Nessie though, apart from one particularly mashed chap who kept singing, "What's that coming over the hill, is it a monster?", for most of the night, so perhaps he was seeing something I wasn't... :?

I really wanna go to the picturesque Loch Ness now. It'd be a hoot.
I believe theres more chance of finding Maddie McCann than the mysterious monster though (the clue is in the fact they call it a 'monster', people love to make-believe, same with the fictuous tale of St George and the 'Dragon'). Our colourful past is full of myths and storybooks - the kids enjoy it mainly, we musn't burst the bubble for them, in the same way we wouldn't with Santa Claus, but then he really does exist, right?

Billy Conolly is in the latest 'X-Files' movie which is doing moderately well at the box office, its tagline is 'I want to Believe' so if they do another one, I'd like them to turn their attentions to the monster and look at the chances of him being a sort of underwater Alien, its got hit written all over it!

Yeah, hit is a substring of what I'd use to describe it...

I'd be inclined to say no i dont believe in the 'Monster'. Tho i wouldnt discount the posibilty of something being responsible for the mystery.

Perfect example, do people believe in Dragons? Course not, however there is a lizard called the Komodo Dragon so technically they do exist, just not the flying, fire breathing, Knight fighting type.

Excellent, it's good to know dragons don't exist. Thanks Foots.

I used to watch "take the high road", I'm sure in the famous "Nessie Episode" they pronounced it so it rhymed with smock and *.

'LOCH' DOES NOT RHYME WITH 'ROCK' OR 'SOCK'.

It rhymes with 'cough'.

So it's pronounced (phonetically) 'loff'?

That sounds better than 'lock'.

Woah, don't drag us into this! In Ireland, the anglicised(sp?) spelling is Lough, but in actual Irish (Gaeilge) it's spelt 'Loch' and that's how it's officially spelt in the Republic of Ireland.

I prefer the English 'lock' pronunciation. At least that way there's no chance of being drowned in spittle.
