Wooo 3rd! I know it means nothing as its only the start of the league, but this is the highest Coventry will get all season, and so I shall celebrate it.

First day is always a laugh to look at the league table. Up here, some have been tipping Caley Thistle to get relegated. Thanks to their 2-0 win over Aberdeen, they're sitting top of the SPL tonight!

This is going to be a long season if we serve up that rubbish every week. 1-0 home win over a team who who will likely be fighting relegation, the goal coming from a dodgy penalty where the guy was sent off and it only just crossed the line anyway... and even after that we looked second best against ten men.

What a crap start to what I was hoping would be a better season.....with our new "stadium" (hahahahahahaha!) and all - although we haven't had a home league game yet. Still, at least we scored a couple - if only we can find a way to stop the opposition doing that at will, then we may have a chance.

You have to assume that Liverpool will turn them over at Anfield. But how I'll laugh if they don't. The only committed player in a Liverpool shirt last night was Benayoun, and he's rubbish.

Oh probably, Liverpool have a proud record of just scraping through the qualifying round. As for Benayoun, he's no Luis Garcia that's for sure.

I'm still laughing at that penalty award. The only way it could have been any more ridiculous was if he had been in at the centre circle! Nowhere near being in the box! Still, they missed it, so not to worry.

What did people think about the "goal"? I thought initially from the angle we saw it it looked in - then even more so on the replay, but I also thought that you really couldn't blame them for not giving it. The officials have to be certain - the replay showed that if it was in, it was so close that certainty in real time couldn't really be possible.
